Australia will tour England to play three One Day International matches and Three T20 International matches. This exciting limited-overs contest will start from 4th September and it will go on till September 16th 2020.
Australia has already announced their full-strength squad for this tour. The three-match T20 International series will be played on 04th, 06th and 08th September at Southampton. While the 50 over format series will begin on 11th September 2020 and it will be followed with the matches on 13th and 16th September at Old Trafford.
Australia Tour of England 2020; England announced their squad for the limited-overs series against Australia –
Team England has just levelled the series of the shortest format against Pakistan. England and Pakistan played a series of three matches in the T20 format. The first game was washed out by rain and the second match of the series was won by the Hosts, England.
But Pakistan came back strongly and the men in green have ended the tour of England with a win after they lost the three-match Test series by a margin of 1-0. Pakistan won the third and the final T20I match by 5 wickets at Old Trafford.

Now England will have two days to prepare and play against a tougher opponent. The home team has announced their squad for which will face the Aussies. England has recalled their premiere wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler and the star fast bowler Jofra Archer for this limited over series.
Joe Root will play the three-match One Day International series. But his name is not been seen in the three-match series of the shortest format. But David Willey is the unfortunate player to miss out from both the squad.
Despite doing all the things right, David Willey has been dropped from the series against Australia. Willey was also named in the T20I series against Pakistan. But he was not included in the playing XI of England. Willey kept warming the bench for the whole series and now he has been dropped.
Mark wood and Sam Curran will play both the series against Australia. While Chris Woakes make a return to the ODI squad as the front line pace bowler. Saqlain Mahmood and Liam Livingstone are the players in the reserved for the series of the shortest format and with that, Joe Denly is on the stand by for the 50 over format series.
Jason Roy who missed the T20I series against Pakistan will also miss the series of the shortest format against Australia. Roy will be with the team in the bio bubble and his fitness will be closely monitored for the One Day International series against the Aussies.
England has named this limited-overs squad without their star all-rounder Ben Stokes. Stokesy will not play both of the series. Stokes has been granted an indefinite compassionate leave by the England Cricket Board after Stokes father was diagnosed with a disease of brain cancer.
The limited over series against Australia will mark an end to England’s summer season. The ECB selectors have picked a strong squad for T20I and ODI series. The T20I squad is selected with the World T20 in mind and they will continue their preparations for that event.
For the first time, England has gone with a full-strength squad in the limited over series. Eoin Morgan said that it will be a challenge to play a full-strength squad on the field on regular bases with the World T20 tournament will be played next year.
